Blue Sapphire for September

September birthstone is sapphire. The name sapphire is derived from the Latin "saphirus" and the Greek "sapheiros", both of which mean blue. I didn't know that by now. I think the word "royal blue" is for sapphire. Sapphire is a gemstone associated with royalty. A sapphire is believed to be good for attracting abundance, blessings, and gifts. 

I used sapphire for horseshoe necklace.
